Responsibility — identity specialist

Since October 2024, Saiteja is the specialist for the overmatch path and for real-time demographic events on a national health organisation's patient-identity platform. He makes and remains accountable for the rule that a high-confidence match may complete automatically and a low-confidence match must go to a person. He takes those design decisions to the architecture review board, where they become the required standard. Designs that touch that path do not proceed until he has reviewed them against that standard.

Responsibility — Pay Later decisioning

From July 2021 to October 2024, on a team of about five that owned the Pay Later service deciding in real time whether a purchase was approved, captured, refunded, or disputed, he was a code owner: responsible for technical decisions, reviewing and approving other engineers' changes, and taking production releases live.

• Signed off idempotency controls so a timed-out retry returns the original charge
• Signed off the lawful maximum capture amount on the live path in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy
• Idempotency held in all seven markets: the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy
